Mrs. Nardelli is an SCA advisor at Frank W. Cox High School, as well as a tenth grade honors English teacher. She also teaches Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow I and II. She received her Bachelor's Degree and teacher certification from Old Dominion University and completed her Master's work in Instructional Technology at Virginia Tech. She previously taught at Lynnhaven Middle School for several years before coming to Cox. She has sponsored drama and newspaper in the past. In addition to her SCA children, she has two wonderful girls at home.

Mrs. Shumate attended the Math and Science Academy at Ocean Lakes High School. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a double major in Biology and Geology. She also received her Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from VA Tech. She played field hockey throughout her secondary eduction and into college. Following her graduation from Virginia Tech, Mrs. Shumate returned to Ocean Lakes High School where she taught science, coached field hockey and sponsored the Green Team. Mrs. Shumate has a wonderful husband and a dog named Ted. E. Bear! She currently teaches Biology and AP Biology at Cox High School.
